The room was perfect for our group -it was clean, close to shops & clubs, cheap and we had plenty of room.
Very young clientel in the bar and nightclub
dirty hostel like acomodation. accomodation located adjacent (no 65) to the hotel actually booked (no 60). first offered shed like accomodation located down narrow flights of dirty stairs, through a fire barred outer door and through a garden. following complaints next accomodation simply a conference room with a bookcase/ spring loaded pull down bed. simply a hostel for clubbing early twenties and with horrendous noise levels throughout the night.
Food was great and the service was excellent would use again
If you are wanting to get a feel for Dublin nightlife then this is a pretty good hotel. It is 10 minutes from the main shopping areas too.
It is very noisy at night so if its a quiet break or an early night you are after then this is most definitely not the place to go. The bar and nightclub were pretty lively, drink was very expensive and the food was pretty reasonable and quite good. The staff were very helpful and pleasant however i found that the rooms on the website were not a true reflection of reality. I had booked a 2 bed suite and got one room with 5 beds packed pretty tightly into it. We had booked and paid for 5 people and only got 4 towels left in the bathroom. The rooms were pretty tired and in dire need of redecoration.
Had the afters of my stag party here.. Brilliant laugh
All of the staff from reception to especially bar staff and waiting staff were excellent.
Shower upstairs leaked into my room but they fixed it after first day.
Too noisy. Had requested a quiet room, as staying to take part in marathon, and were told would be given a quiet room towards rear of building, in most quiet part of hotel. We were woken by music coming from the rear of the bar area several times throughout the night, we might as well have had a bed placed in the middle of the bar. Every guest we spoke to at breakfast the following morning had the same experience. We will not be staying again. Please don't lie to potential guests by informing them that your accomodation is quiet, and then play loud music till the small hours of the morning.
It was a very typical European hotel. It was quite old, but nicely kept up. The bath was recently remodeled but extremely small. The mattress was in need of replacement. Otherwise, it was a nice experience.
Shower and bathroom were very small, but recently remodeled. Needed a new mattress.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.
I did not like that there was not internet access in the room. Also, the noise from the bars/clubs downstairs was somewhat loud.
Its in a great lacation with the luas stopping down the street , and a short walk to st. Stephens grren shopping centre , The Dtwo bar is really nice ! The staff were all very helpful and friendly !
Rooms are very dated , but theres everything there that you could need ,but considering the the price ,, you are paying for what you get !
I had rang the hotel earlier in the week and requested a room within the hotel which was smoking. I was told that our room would be in the main hotel and non-smoking but that we were not far from reception area were we could smoke!! On check-in I was told that my room was down the street and the receptionist made reference to my smoking room request. On entry to the room which was very disappointing I noticed a non smoking sign, when I rang reception to clarify the smoking sign I was told it was a non-smoking room, so both of my requests earlier in the week were totally dismissed! Not at all impressed and not even an apology on departure. A bit of staff training wouldn't go a miss.
The fact it is within walking distance of everything Dublin has to offer
A good location not too far from centre and a handy tram station nearby.
Not too keen on the taxis parking outside at 3am to collect the night club guests. Never heard the actual nightclub only when guests left. Still good value if you don't mind a bit of disturbance
Thankfully the weather was good, short walk to grafton street and soom good shopping.Main reason for visit was to attend westlife concert at croke park hotel staff helpful directed us by bus and a good night was had by all.noise in hotel didnt bother us at all would stay there again.
nightclub ajacent so very noise until 3pm
